That Crest

When I first got my Guinea Pigs, I knew hardly anything about them.
For instance, that Crest that they have on their head (in some breeds), I thought it was a bald patch when really it was where the hair parted!
I remember making a fuss over nothing, it was funny.
I know that if the crest is anywhere else on the body it's called a Rosette or something- a really nice name!

Well there is a first time for everything!
Mine have crests an all sorts- cross breeds, making it all complicated to work out.
Some people get confused, it took me ages to work out my breeds, even now I may not be sure!
I think Guinea Pigs look fantastic with a crest!

Mine has a crest on its head.
And I thought that it was a bald patch too!
I had read alot about Guinea Pigs before I got one, but when it boiled down to it now many websites tell you about the crest do they?
